Sisters Trash the Dress

Posted on 22nd December 2011 in Blog Posts, Uncategorized

Two sisters that live life to the max.

Krystal & Keri were married four months apart and it was my pleasure as well as my wife Michele’s to document there two special days. Four families from two sisters and a whole ton of new friends.

A few months after Keri’s  wedding  passed we all got together and brought back to life their childhood ways.

It all started when Michele & I booked their weddings one afternoon back in 2009. We must have talked for a few hours learning about their lives and some of the crazy things they put mom through as little girls.  Michele mentioned Trash the Dress.  Krystal and Keri answered with ”Spaghettio fight.”  And a truly unique Trash the Dress session was formed and taken to a whole new level.

Michele (michele-yvette photography) made all the arrangements for the Trash the Dress photo shoot .  And I just tagged along and had some fun with my video camera, my talented wife, and the newlywed sisters.

Karen & Gaylen’s OceanCliff Wedding

Posted on 12th November 2011 in Blog Posts

A perfect day with some old friends brought me to Karen & Gaylen after a 20 year wait.
Let me explain.
When I arrived at Karen’s parents’ house to start coverage I was greeted by her sister Kathleen who reminded me I shot her wedding 20 years ago. It’s such a wonderful feeling to see three children also added to the family as well. And let me tell you something…they still know how to have a good time.
The weather was a 10 as you could see by the video and the dance floor needed Advil after these two families were done with it.
Gaylen could not hold back as she walked the aisle at Our Lady of Mercy Church in East Greenwich. Karen’s Uncle,  Bishop Howard Hubbard came in from New York and how privileged she was to have him perform their service.
You are both blessed with wonderful families and friends all around you.
Thank you for bringing me back to your family to do what I love.

Nicole & Jose…What a Day

Posted on 31st October 2011 in Blog Posts, Uncategorized

It’s been said a million times but I just have to say it…I just have to.

It was an absolute pleasure documenting your wedding day… an absolute pleasure.  To feel welcome is an understatement.

When you came down the aisle with your father and greeted your Jose you were no where close to the ground. When you two made eye contact I had my own wedding day flashbacks. How beautiful the radiant bride.

As I watched Jose’s knees just about fall out from under him as he looked at you for the first time the whole front row of the church were going through boxes of kleenex. What a gentlman you are Jose, you made me feel like I was your brother. You are a credit to Providence’s finest.

Now to the Father daughter dance.

Never in my career have I witnessed such a performance. Dad, you are one cool cat. Dancing through the ages and even getting the water can dumped on you during the Flashdance segment of the dance. It must have been fun growing up around that house. You covered every year of  your lives through song and dance and never missed a step.

When I tell you we, Michele Yvette Photography, my wife and I did not want this evening to end.

Your life will be a BLAST…there is just no other way I see it.

A heartfelt congratulations to you both.

Keri & David’s Day at Meadow Brook Inn

Posted on 20th September 2011 in Blog Posts, Uncategorized

Where do I start.

You both shined as well as every family member and friend that saw your faces.  How beautiful a couple inside and out.

With two sets of dimples and smiles that could not be replaced you both were a dream to work with. Kleenex once again saves the day.

It’s always fun to work with my wife Michele as your Photographer for the day. I watched her pretend she was cleaning her eye peice on her camera but she was sharing in your moment with tears a flowing. When we had the honor of documenting your sister Krystal and now new brother-in-law Christopher’s wedding back in May the same thing happened. I’ve always said to do what we do your heart has to be 100% into it….Michele is writing her own book. We really enjoy being around you folks and can’t thank you enough for letting us share these times in your lives with us.

The short video of your day which is on my Home Page was not easy. It runs for about six minutes and took five hours to produce, blame that on my camera….so much to choose from. When you get back from Aruba I have a whole lot more for you two, buy a big bag of popcorn.

…and on a side note, I usually try to count how many times a bride or groom tell each other “I Love You” throughout the evening, it’s just a little game I play…..I lost count some time around when we cut the cake.

My words to you, Love each other as much today as you did yesterday.

I HAD A BLAST

Nicole & Jesse’s Crystal Lake Wedding

Posted on 22nd July 2011 in Blog Posts, Uncategorized

Tears flowed freely at  the lakeside gazebo at Crystal Lake for Nicole & Jesse’s beautiful wedding.  And later,  the ladies’ shoes lined the dance floor.   Chris Whitten of Coastline Entertainment had the dance floor covered.  Thanks, everyone.. I lost another five pounds videotaping this incredible day.

Nicole didn’t try to hold back her tears as she gave her vow to Jessie. She asked me if all those tears would be on the DVD.  My answer.. “crying makes me look good.”  You could hear the roar of applause at the end of the service for miles.

When you’re in the fine hands of Tracy Hill (Crystal Lake’s wedding coordinator) you will be able to enjoy every minute of your wedding and reception there. I get tired watching her run around.  She is great at what she does for you on the biggest day of your lives. Tracy takes your wedding very personally.  I’ve seen her even wipe tears away during a service at their beautiful lakeside wedding pavillion.

Nicole and Jessi, please enjoy your day again and again. You both have wonderful friends and a great family. Thank you for allowing me to document your day.

A Beautiful Day in May

Posted on 21st May 2011 in Blog Posts, Uncategorized

There is only one way to explain it…….” A  BLAST “.

Thank you so much for letting me capture a day in May that seemed to never end.

Krystal and Christopher….you did it. You planned and worked so hard and your day was flawless. Parents with happy tears can’t be planned and the tears were flowing.

It was really fun working with my wife Michele Yvette as your professional photographer also. We know each other’s next moves which helps when trying to document your day.

Your DJ Michael Mancini kept the dance floor full from cocktail hour til mid-nite….go figure…he rocks.

Michele and I look forward to your sister’s wedding in September more than you know. You two and your families were so fun to be around, there was a ton of love in the room.

Thank you so very much once again for choosing me to make a memory that will last forever…I do love what I do.

Enjoy every minute, Bruce

Dear Bruce,

Kerry and I just wanted to tell you whan an unbelievable job you did on our wedding video!  we have watched it so many times already and showed all of our closest friends and family.  Kerry wasn’t too sure about having a videographer before we got married but told him when the wedding day was over he would realize it was worth it.  From the first time we saw it and every time after that, he tells everyone, “Bruce did such an amazing job!  Isn’t this video amazing!  I’m so glad we have this video so we can always relive our wedding day and our future children and grandchildren will also get to enjoy it!”  Thank you so much, Bruce!  You are truly talented and we are still in amazement of the wonderful job you have done for our wedding.  The memories will truly last a lifetime!

Sincerely,

Erin and Kerry

krystal-michael-71010Talk about a smile that never leaves your face.

Krystal, your smile was so big it glowed from The Grand Ball Room of  The Biltmore clear across the city.

Nancy Paolino and The Black Tie Band kept everyone on there feet all night long. It sure proved that Mike is a dancin machine. The floor rocked.

If your Wedding went til 4am who would of noticed….everyone was into the night..and early morning.

Thank you for all your kind words and letting me document your day for all of you to watch forever.

Tiffany & Justin Light up The Alpine C.C.

Tiffany, I swear Justin was going to drop when you walked down the aisle at St. Peter’s in Warwick. You looked stunning.

It was awsome seeing a lot of my previous Bride’s & Grooms at your wedding too.. Let’s all party again soon.

My advise, watch your Wedding DVD every Anniversary, or at least parts of it.

It’s hard for me to pick my favorite part of your day but I will say this, you two looked each other in the eye’s during the vows without a blink, just tears.

Falling in love is so cool.

The Alpine Country Club served Tiffany & Justin one of the finest evenings with personal service that is second to none.

Your host at the Alpine is Nick. He makes it all happen like magic. With a fantastic staff all there guests had a BLAST as did I.

I frequent The Alpine and I am treated as a guest every time I visit.

Jimmy Hindle served as the evening’s entertainment with top notch DJ service. Tiffany & Justin danced until there was no wax left on the floor. I was fortunate to have Jimmy at our wedding a few years back.  He rocks the house.

Best Wishes in your new lives together.

Tracy & Russell Light Up The Kirkbrae C.C.

Posted on 16th September 2010 in Blog Posts, Uncategorized

Love in the GardenYou could feel the love humming in the air all day long.  That’s what wedding days are all about.  And as a Videographer, I’ll take that any day.

With a smile that could light up the night during a power outage, Tracy and one of Cranston’s bravest, Russell, put on a party!

To see Tracy step out of the Limo with her huge smile and then blow the camera a kiss not once but four times gave me a pretty good idea on how great this wedding day was going to be.

And when this blushing bride walked down the aisle, I could almost hear Russell’s thoughts yelling WOW!  Tracy, you looked absolutely beautiful in your David’s Bridal Gown.

When they were pronounced husband & wife, the church rafters shook with applause. I’m sure glad the church was full of firefighters. You guys rock.

From the church over to the Kirkbrae Country Club..

From the outside deck, between tables, and of course the dance floor, I have never seen a D.J. ( Alfredo Travieso’s “Sound Force Unlimited” ) work so hard. There was smoke coming out of the speakers.  Once again I’m glad we had a room full of firefighters.

You two wonderful people and your magnificent family and friends made me feel like a member of the family.  Thank you for letting me document your absolutely beautiful day.
